Privacy Policy
RostrGrid Privacy Policy
Effective date: 5 June 2026
RostrGrid is a personal shift calendar app. This policy explains how the current public version handles information.
Information stored in the app
RostrGrid stores roster data, shift patterns, leave entries, public holiday entries, pay settings, reminder settings, and app preferences on your device.
Calendar access
If you choose to import public holidays, RostrGrid requests access to Apple Calendar and looks for all-day public holiday events. Imported public holidays are saved into RostrGrid so they can appear on your calendar grid. Calendar access is not used to import personal appointments as leave.
Notifications
If you enable shift reminders, RostrGrid uses local notifications on your device. Reminder notifications are scheduled by the app and handled by iOS.
Data collection
The current version of RostrGrid does not require an account and does not operate a cloud roster service. The app does not sell personal information.
Future business features
RostrGrid may later add account-based workplace roster sharing for companies and employees. If that happens, this privacy policy and App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before those features are released.
Your choices
- You can deny Calendar access and still use RostrGrid manually.
- You can deny Notification access and still use the calendar and roster features.
- You can delete roster entries, leave entries, shift types, and patterns inside the app.
- You can remove the app from your device to remove its local app data from that device.
